Bonus!

The Woman was ecstatic! Our starting point for our Baja trip was only a 20-minute drive from the southern terminus of the Pacific Crest Trail! We had found our way to the northern terminus which is actually in Canada – the southern terminus is literally feet from the border wall at the Mexican border. We drove in as far as we could, and then hiked our way to the official marker, which looked eerily like the official marker at the northern terminus. While she hasn’t walked the entire trail, she has now been at both ends, as well as hiking hundreds of miles of the PCT at various points where the trail is reasonably accessible.
