The surgery
went procedurally well – no problems with the anesthesia and such. But the
surgeon found that the Woman’s wrist was far more shattered than the original X-rays
would have suggested. But he indicated that while the titanium plate was a bit
larger than he expected, he was able to secure it well on both the joint and
the bone, and that he felt that the procedure would provide a very strong wrist
once healed.
So, the
Woman will not experience the joys of airport security as I have for many years
now. Full screenings and pat downs every time she takes a flight. We can commiserate
with each other now at the TSA areas.
Talk to
you soon!
