Morning entertainment

Once settled in a bit, we started our routine of morning walks before the oppressive heat sets in. Down the block from us we spotted a lawn ornament sporting designer sunglasses, but had no idea at the time what was coming. The next day, we saw the same lawn ornament was practicing appropriate social distancing.

We began to just reference the lawn ornament as “The Pig”. The next morning, the Pig was carefully holding onto a roll of toilet paper.

The next morning, the Pig was eloquently decked out.

Next morning, the Pig was sporting a hat that would have been more than welcome at the Kentucky Derby.

Next morning the Pig was busily working out.

Taking a break, we assume, we spotted the Pig hiding behind a shrub.

The next morning, the Pig was busy knitting an afghan.

And this morning, the Pig was just arising from a comfortable night’s sleep.

We left a note taped to the garage door thanking the folks living there for the daily entertainment they were providing the neighborhood. This morning when we paid our daily visit to the Pig, we spotted this note on the very same garage door. Awesome!

Talk to you soon.
